Fight leads to Orlando shooting, leaving 2 people in the hospital

ORLANDO, Fla. – A fight led to a shooting in Orlando on Friday evening, leaving two people in the hospital, according to the police department.

In a release, police said that officers responded to 127 S. Orange Ave. around 8:15 p.m. in response to a “physical altercation.”

During the fight, “shots were fired,” and both of the people involved were taken to the hospital — one of whom suffered a gunshot wound, police added.

The release shows that the person who was shot was in critical-but-stable condition, and the other person suffered non-lethal injuries in the scuffle.

There are no other suspects, investigators reported. This is an ongoing investigation.
