Domestic incident leads to woman’s shooting death in Orange County, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-year-old woman died Sunday after being shot in Orange County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies located the woman while responding around 2 a.m. to a shooting reported in the area of State Road 535 and Lake Bryan Beach Boulevard, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

The woman, identified as Sharima Martin, was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died from her injuries, the statement reads.

The sheriff’s office said that it’s still investigating, that the incident was domestic in nature and that there are no outstanding suspects.
