ORLANDO, Fla. – National Pet Day is April 11 and your cuddly companions could appear on News 6!

We’re once again giving your furry friends a chance to get on TV and ClickOrlando.com with PinIt!, WKMG’s built-in feature that allows Insiders to upload photos from their communities and pin where they were taken.

Submitting is easy! After ensuring you’re signed up for our free Insider program, web users can click here to find the “Upload a Pin” button and get started. For app users, the PinIt! feature can be found along the toolbar at the bottom of our Pinpoint Weather App or by navigating the drop-down menus of the News 6 App.

Take some time to give your photo a description and to designate what kind of picture you’re uploading. We’ve got categories for all sorts — weather, food, outdoor life, holidays, space, traffic, military, theme parks and more — but choose “Pets” for this occasion.

Finally, use the minimap to pin where the picture was taken, then go ahead and upload it.
