WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – A woman who was cleaning out her deceased father’s home in Winter Garden may have found a hand grenade, according to police.
Police said the woman was clearing out the home at 15427 Pebble Ridge St. on Tuesday when she found the grenade.
Investigators did not say whether the device was active or why her father may have had it.
Officers said they are taking the proper precautions to recover it.
