Check out this improvised late-night talk show featuring a News 6 anchor in Orlando

Julie Broughton will be a guest on a show in Orlando Fringe Fest

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival wraps up this weekend, and one of the shows taking part in it brings the experience of a late-night talk show.

If you’ve ever been a fan of David Letterman, Jay Leno, or Johnny Carson, this is your chance to get your own live audience experience.

Host Mark Cashwell talks with the audience and guests in a series of unpredictable discussions.

He makes up the questions on the spot, which means every show is different.

During Sunday’s show, our very own Julie Broughton will be a guest. It will be interesting to see how she answers Cashwell’s improvised questions.

Cashwell said he had a journalist on his show in the past during another fringe festival.

“The question was: What would you like to do if you weren’t doing the current occupation you’re currently doing? She mentioned, well, ‘I was thinking about maybe being a yoga instructor in another lifetime.’ I said, ‘well we have a captive audience, let’s go for it,’” said Cashwell.

“That’s just the beauty of improv. I took her into leading the entire audience in a couple of yoga poses,” he said.

Not only will “Tonight, Tonight” feature interviews, there will also be games and comedy bits inspired by other late-night talk shows.

Tickets are available for two more shows this weekend at The Starlite Room @ Savoy. Julie Broughton will be in the show on Sunday afternoon.
