VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – With the new year, new rules are now in effect for what it will cost nonresidents to park at Volusia County beaches.

At the county’s more-than 60 beach parking lots, nonresidents have the option to pay the following daily or annual parking fees:

  • $20 a day or $100 a year for off-beach parking
  • $30 a day or $150 a year to drive onto the beach and park

Volusia County councilmembers approved the rule changes in July. While some cities such as New Smyrna Beach already had pay-for-parking lots, these new changes impacted county parks and parking lots along the beaches.
