ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando woman on Thursday claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off game that she bought in West Melbourne, according to Florida Lottery.

Isadora Thompson opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000, a Florida Lottery news release states.

Thompson bought the winning “BONUS LETTER CROSSWORD” ticket from the RaceTrac at 745 Palm Bay Road NE in West Melbourne, according to the release.

The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, the release states.

“BONUS LETTER CROSSWORD” is a $5 game that features $76.6 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million, with overall winning odds of 1-in-4, Florida Lottery said.
