Man gets 25 years in 2021 Halloween night shooting in downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man who shot into a crowd of people in downtown Orlando on Halloween night in 2021 was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Antonio Terrell Jones Jr. was arrested in October 2023.

According to the Orlando Police Department, two shootings occurred on Nov. 1, 2021, the night of Halloween celebrations in the downtown area.

Jones opened fire on Orange Avenue near Wall Street, injuring four people.

The intended target at the time was a 16-year-old due to a feud on social media, police said.
