Where: Lake Nona Town Center
Celebrate community and summer fun at Lake Nona’s signature block party featuring food vendors, live music, games, and a laser light show. Competitive guests can register for the wing-eating contest, pie bake-off or cornhole tournament. Free and open to the public.
When: Sunday, June 29 | 7 p.m.
Where: Mount Dora Music Hall
Relive the glory of the 1980s at this high-energy concert featuring Big Country, Tommy Tutone, Gene Loves Jezebel and Bow Wow Wow. Expect a night of unforgettable throwback hits in a retro-inspired setting.

Where: Daytona Aquarium, 1008 W International Speedway Blvd.
The mermaids return to the Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure for a weekend of interactive fun. Kids can complete a scavenger hunt, enjoy story time, and meet live mermaids throughout the day. A regular day pass or membership grants access.
When: Sunday, June 29 | 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Kaya, 618 N Thornton Ave. Orlando
Now in its fourth year, this community block party celebrates Filipino independence and culture. Hosted by Kaya, The Burrow, O-Town compost and Halo-Halo Music Fest, the event features food, local vendors, music by DJ Eno, and live screen printing by Space Station.

Kaya will also have a booth on the driveway selling our signature Filipino spaghetti, chicken skin chicharron, fruit salad + exclusive merch. The dining room is open for dinner as well, with walk-ins as available.

Where: Downtown Sanford
Sanford’s popular merchants between 4th and 6th Streets host a lively block party with live music, food, craft beverages, and local vendors. A casual and fun evening out for families, couples, and groups. Free admission, no cover.
🏃➡️ 5K for PTSD Awareness Day
When: Saturday, June 28 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Venetian Gardens, 109 E Dixie Ave., Leesburg
This 5K run/walk honors veterans and first responders while raising awareness and support for PTSD recovery. All proceeds benefit Healing Hometown Heroes and their peer-to-peer mental health programs.
