SunRail train collides with box truck in Longwood, sparking traffic block

LONGWOOD, Fla. – A SunRail train collided with a box truck in Longwood on Thursday, causing traffic to be blocked, according to the police department.

In a release, police said that the crash happened near State Road 434 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

“There are no significant injuries to report,” the release reads. “All 91 people on board the train suffered no injuries.”

While few details about the crash were released, police said they expect the train to be moved soon and are working with SunRail to reopen traffic.
