USPS stops serving Colonialtown after lease non-renewal

ORLANDO, Fla. – The USPS has stopped serving the Colonialtown Post Office at 611 N. Mills Ave. in Orlando, effective immediately, due to the lease not being renewed.

City records show that “Food Hall MPL” has filed for permits at the Colonialtown property.

What Colonialtown Customers Need to Know

If you’ve been using the Colonialtown Post Office, you’ll need to head to the Herndon Post Office at 821 Herndon Ave. for your postal needs.

You can still buy stamps, mail packages, and do other postal transactions there.

Herndon Post Office Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Closed on weekends

Picking Up Your Mail and Packages

If you have a P.O. Box at Colonialtown, you can pick up your mail at the Herndon Post Office during business hours — just bring your ID. If you get regular delivery, you can also grab packages and important mail there.

Don’t worry—mail delivery is not affected and will continue as usual.
