17-year-old taken to hospital with ‘obvious signs of trauma’ in Orange County, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 17-year-old boy with “obvious signs of trauma” told Orange County deputies he was attacked early Saturday behind a gas station in Pine Hills, according to sheriff’s officials.

Deputies responded just after midnight to an aggravated battery in the 4600 block Drexel Avenue.

When they arrived, deputies found the teen “who had suffered obvious signs of trauma” and he told them he was attacked behind a gas station at 2800 North Pine Hills Road.

The sheriff’s office said the teen had driven himself to the location on Drexel Avenue and called 911.

The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital.

No other information has been released, including the extent of his injuries or if deputies are looking for an attacker.
