Last week, another eight restaurants across Central Florida were told to close after they were visited by a health inspector, according to the Florida DBPR.
Reports show that these businesses were cited for reasons including live roaches, rodent droppings and improper storage of food items.

Below is the full list of Central Florida restaurants closed between July 7 and July 13.
DAYTONA BEACH
- China Master — 1700 W. International Speedway Blvd.
- 7/11: Dozens of rodent droppings found; one live rodent discovered in a glue trap; two live roaches seen in storage room; and some food items held at improper temperatures
- 7/12: Met inspection standards
- Holiday Inn Daytona Beach — 137 Automall Circle
- 7/8: Salmon not fully cooked; seven live roaches found under dish racks; and gravy held at improper temperature
- 7/11: Four more roaches found during follow-up inspection
- 7/12: Met inspection standards
LAKELAND
- Egg Factory of South Lakeland — 6960 S. Florida Ave.
- 7/10: Two live roaches found in sticky trap by prep sink; around 15 more roaches under crates holding boxes of potatoes; roughly 20 rodent droppings discovered in dining room; and butter kept at improper temperature; and 11 other minor violations
- 7/11: Five minor violations, including accumulated grease between fryers
OCALA
- El Ranchito Food Market — 3334 NW. Blichton Road
- 7/7: Macaroni, beans and meat improperly stored; sewage on ground behind back of restaurant; around five live flies found inside; employee began working without first washing hands; desserts stored in front counter reach-in cooler had been prepared at home; surface cleaner stored next to cooking wine; lacquer thinner stored on top of mustard; and 30 other minor violations
- 7/8: Some food items were still stored at improper temperatures
ORLANDO
- Crazy Buffet — 7038 W. Colonial Drive
- 7/9: Food improperly stored; 10 live roaches found inside the cooking area; and 26 other minor violations
- 7/11: Some food items were still improperly stored
- Judy’s Diner — 5220 Old Winter Garden Road
- 7/11: Roach droppings soiled walls, piping and wire cabling throughout establishment
- 7/11: Met inspection standards
ORMOND BEACH
- Imli Indian Kitchen and Bar — 330 S. Atlantic Ave.
- 7/8: Two roaches found in the kitchen
- 7/8: Met inspection standards
WINTER PARK
- Prato — 124 N. Park Ave.
- 7/8: Nearly 20 small, flying insects found in drain underneath sink at the bar station; and eight rodent droppings discovered beneath a sink
