ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando woman, in hopes of picking up her dog, was arrested just before midnight after allegedly driving 113 mph down S.R. 417, an arrest report stated.
Around 11:37 p.m. Saturday, an officer with the Orlando Police Department pulled over 32-year-old Yasiria Natal after her car was clocked going 113 mph down S.R. 417, the report said.

After being asked why she was going so fast, Natal said, “I’m going to pick up my dog,” according to the report.
Natal was arrested, found to be in violation of Florida’s new “Super Speeder” law that went into effect July 1, which makes driving 100 mph or more on a roadway an arrestable offense, deputies said.
The new criminal offense is labeled under a state statute named “dangerous excessive speeding,” according to the report.
Natal was transported to the Booking and Release Center without incident and was issued a $500 bond, the report said.
