BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash last week that injured a woman in Brevard County has been located, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on July 12 around 6:50 a.m. on Arabella Lane and Barclay Drive in Port St. John.
In an update on Monday, troopers said the vehicle — a 2004 Honda Accord — was located and taken into evidence. The FHP said it is still working to determine who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
According to troopers, the woman was walking on Arabella Lane next to the right shoulder of the roadway. Video released by the FHP shows the woman being struck by a light-colored vehicle.
Her neighbor told Brevard County community correspondent James Sparvero she suffered a broken foot and a fractured neck, too.
An investigation is ongoing.
