ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man arrested in Puerto Rico in 2021 following a fatal house fire in Orange County has been sentenced to life after being found guilty of murder, records show.
Bryan Merced Pacheco was sentenced earlier this month, according to court documents filed July 10.
The fire broke out Feb. 19, 2021, in the 6000 block of Pompeii Road.

Minerva Rivera Gonzalez and Felix Morales died in the fire, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Pacheco was Gonzalez’s grandson and Morales’ nephew, the sheriff’s office said, adding he lived at the home with them.
Pacheco was arrested to face charges of arson and two counts of first-degree murder.
