Sanford police looking for missing, endangered mother and 5-year-old daughter

SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing and endangered mother and daughter, according to a news release.

Police said Lenetria Dixon and her 5-year-old daughter Denverrose Allen were last seen Sunday in the area of North Lane and Westgrove Way in Orlando. Police initially said the daughter’s name was Denver Dixon, but the department updated the information on Wednesday.

According to the release, they recently lived in Sanford and also have family in Sanford. Police said they may be using SunRail to travel in the Orlando or Sanford area.

“Due to some mental health concerns, Lenetria is considered endangered and Denver is with her,” the release read in part.

Police said Lenetria and Denverrose Allen’s clothing at the time they were last seen wearing is unknown, and when Denver was last seen, her hair was cut short.

Anyone with information about their location is asked to contact the Sanford Police Department at 407-688-5070.

Police ask that if you see Lenetria and Denverrose, please call police by phone immediately to report their location.
