ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – On Monday, News 6 obtained an incident report that shed new light on a controversial TikTok video that went viral earlier this summer.

The video in question was posted by solar utility worker Antavis Johnson, who said the incident happened on July 29 when he knocked on the door of a local home while canvassing.

In the video, a couple can be seen coming out of the home toward Johnson, using various expletives and racially charged language.

“Get your Black (expletive) the (expletive) out of here,” the man can be heard saying. “You come back again, I’m gonna hang you.”

Johnson captured the confrontation on video, which garnered more than 13 million views before it was taken down from TikTok.

“When they saw I was recording, the names got worse,” Johnson told News 6. “I tried to avoid it and go to the nearest neighbor’s house. It didn’t go well. They followed me over there.”

However, the incident report acquired by News 6 reveals that an Orange County deputy was called to the home the next day, where he spoke with the couple in question.

Per the report, a male had knocked on the door trying to sell electrical services, but the wife stated that she wasn’t interested in buying anything.

“The male said, ‘(Expletive) you,’ while holding up the middle finger,” the report reads. “(The wife) and her husband... got into a verbal argument with the male, and the male left. During this altercation, the male was recording on his cellphone.”

It was on July 30 that the couple began receiving several threatening messages and phone calls from random numbers, with one message in particular threatening to “kill and rape your dumb White (expletives),” according to the report.

“I explained to (the couple) that the text messages and phone calls they are receiving are most likely from TikTok users who viewed the video and accessed their information,” the deputy wrote.

The deputy also noted that during the investigation, the husband became “uncooperative” and began making several racially charged statements.

Over a week after the incident, the OCSO responded to the home due to reports of a suspicious package, though it was later deemed safe by deputies and fire crews.

Following news of the package, News 6 knocked on the door of the home, but the person who answered declined to comment.

Meanwhile, Johnson set up a fundraising page, which has already garnered nearly $72,000.
