ORLANDO, Fla. – Last week, 13 more Central Florida restaurants were forced to close temporarily after a visit from a health inspector, according to the Florida DBPR.
Health inspection records reveal that these restaurants suffered issues with cockroaches, food storage, rodent droppings, and other types of violations.

Of these different eateries, three were located in Orlando: China Garden and East Garden along Colonial Drive, and Saigon Noodle and Grill on Washington Street.
According to state records, cockroaches were discovered in these three restaurants during last week’s inspections, though all three ultimately managed to meet inspection standards before the week was out.
For China Garden in particular, there were a couple of follow-up visits before the restaurant was allowed to reopen, as cockroaches continued to be a problem — though a greatly diminished one, records reveal.
