BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Publix has announced two new stores will be coming to Central Florida later this month.
According to the company, one of these stores will be opening in Tampa on Oct. 23 at 1700 N. Blvd.

This location will span just over 31,000 square feet and feature a pharmacy inside, just like many other stores.
But the next upcoming Publix location will span over 48,000 square feet and host a liquor store, as well.
Company officials said that this store will open in Palm Bay on Oct. 30 at Heritage Square, 150 St. Johns Heritage Parkway.
News about these new locations comes as the company also unveiled its next free tasting event in Publix stores statewide this weekend.
The event will allow guests to try a myriad of free samples across five different departments, and it will run from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The products on offer this time around are as follows:
- Bakery — Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Iced Bread
- Deli — Chicken Pot Pie Soup
- Grocery — Garlic Knots
- Meat — Southwest-Style Salmon Burgers
- Produce — GreenWise Organic Honeycrisp Apples
