ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A judge revoked the bond on Tuesday for a man who was allowed to bail out of jail after his arrest in a sex-attack case.
Jacoby Tillman, 23, was arrested earlier this month in connection with the July 25 sex attack of a woman running along the Little Econ Greenway trail, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
At the end of the court hearing, Tillman was placed in handcuffs and escorted from the courtroom by deputies.
Tillman faces charges that include attempted first-degree murder, attempted sexual battery involving a deadly weapon or physical force, battery by strangulation, and another battery charge with one prior battery offense.
After his arrest on Oct. 10, a judge set Tillman’s bond at $9,500 with conditions such as having no contact with the victim or witnesses, either directly or indirectly, and not returning to the scene. Tillman then posted bond and was released on Oct. 12, records show.

After the release, Orange County Sheriff John Mina expressed outrage about the decision in a post on social media.
“This is atrocious! He should have never been released,” Mina said.
In the motion to revoke bond, prosecutors argued that after Tillman was released, he posted on TikTok and made comments toward a witness, thus violating the terms of his release.
