ORLANDO, Fla. – In the first week of December, another nine eateries across Central Florida were forced to close after a visit from a health inspector, according to the Florida DBPR.
State records show that the reported eateries experienced violations like cockroaches, rodent droppings, improper storage, and more.
However, nearly all of these restaurants were ultimately allowed to reopen upon a follow-up inspection, usually within a day or two.

LAKELAND
- Shanghai Chinese Restaurant — 2344 Griffin Road
- Closed on Dec. 2
- Around 15 dead roaches found behind chest freezer near dry storage shelf
- Around 12 live roaches spotted running on floor and up walls in dry storage area
