PALM BAY, Fla. – A music director who worked at Bayside High School has been arrested after he was accused of molesting an underage student, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.

In an affidavit, police said that they met with the 16-year-old student at the high school on Friday.

According to the student, she initially met the music director — identified as Brandon Foreman, 19 — about a year and a half ago when he was still an intern.

“A year later, (Foreman) replaced the music director and assumed the role of lead instructor,” the affidavit reads.

Afterward, he was entrusted with giving the student one-on-one private music lessons on school property, though Foreman soon began messaging one another outside of the chat platform that had been established for the music group, investigators said.

“In those private messages, (Foreman and the student) established what they considered [REDACTED],” the affidavit continues. “The text messages turned into late-night phone calls and exchanging of pictures.”

Investigators added that the girl claimed they had kissed in the school’s band room at least 10 times after her private lessons. She also reportedly stated that Foreman had fondled her over her bra.
