ORLANDO, Fla. – Irish dance champions are getting ready to tap their way through Central Florida.

Presented by Pace Live, “A Taste of Ireland” is doing a world tour following a successful West End debut in the U.K., a returning Off-Broadway performance, and international performances in Australia and New Zealand.

The production features dancers from “Lord of the Dance” and “Riverdance,” as well as other World Champions.

Callum O’Niell is a World Champion performing in the show.

“I’ve been so lucky to have had such an amazing experience with Irish dancing. Throughout my competitive years of dancing, I was lucky enough to win the world championships and many other major titles,” said O’Niell.

He also just finished touring with “Riverdance” for its 25th anniversary.

“I’m currently one of the lead dancers and dance captains in the show. My experience with Irish dancing has taught me so much and it really has become a life changing profession where I can make the most amazing memories with all my friends and perform all over the globe.”

O’Niell said before every tour, they go through intense and long rehearsals. The goal is to make sure everything is coming together in perfect unison.

“A Taste of Ireland” has classics like “Danny Boy” and “Wild Rover,” as the cast transports the audience through Ireland’s history and culture.

“The show also takes the audience through a quiet and emotional rollercoaster. There are moments in the show where you can feel scared, upset and even have a little bit of fun too. We like to have ‘the craic’ on stage, which means a little bit of fun, and we love when the audience becomes a part of this too,” O’Niell explained.

Here’s a list of the Central Florida tour dates:

Jan. 18: Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.

Jan 25: Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach

Feb. 1: King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne

Feb. 3: Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages
