Missing 17-year-old girl in Oviedo found safe

OVIEDO, Fla. – UPDATE: The Oviedo Police Department on Tuesday said the teen was found safe.

PREVIOUS: Oviedo police are asking for the public’s help locating a “missing/run away” 17-year-old girl.

Police said Melina Monson was last seen in area of Alafaya Trail and Chapman Road early Sunday morning.

She was last seen wearing a brown hoodie and black sweatpants, according to Oviedo police.
