FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – County Road 304 is shut down in Flagler County on Saturday evening as authorities conduct a death investigation involving a freight train, according to a news release.
Flagler County deputies said the road is shut down between U.S. Highway 1 and Old Haw Creek Road and is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time.

According to the release, the closure affects travel between Bunnell, DuPont and Cody’s Corner.

Drivers in the area are being asked to use alternate routes to reach U.S. 1, including State Road 11 and Old Haw Creek Road, while the investigation continues.
There is no threat to the community, deputies said.
