Woman fatally shot at 7-Eleven along I-Drive in Orange County, sheriff’s office says

ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was fatally shot at a 7-Eleven in Orlando’s tourist district, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

Around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the 11900 block of International Drive after a report of an aggravated battery.

Upon arrival, deputies found a woman in her 40s who had been shot. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died, deputies said.

Deputies did not release the woman’s name, details about a suspect, or what led up to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
