ORLANDO, Fla. – A lockdown was lifted at Boone High School on Wednesday, Orlando police said.
Officers responded after the school received a call reporting a suspicious armed person outside the campus on Kaley Street.
Police said they conducted a thorough search of the area and did “not locate any suspicious individuals or threats”.
Blankner Elementary School, located adjacent to Boone High School, was placed on secure status as a precaution.
