Search underway for a man in Orange County lake

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies are actively searching for a man who didn’t return home after fishing at Barnett Park.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to Barnett Park at 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

“We expect to have an update in the next couple of hours,” said the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in a statement.

Dive crews and a sheriff’s office helicopter were deployed to help look for the man.
