FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – Brunch took a wild turn for some diners at Tortugas’ Florida Kitchen in Flagler Beach on Saturday when an unexpected pair of guests came bolting through the patio.
The restaurant shared clips on social media, showing deer dashing by the bar on Ocean Shore Boulevard, startling guests and knocking over a few chairs.
One of the deer almost collided with a worker.
The restaurant assured followers that no one was hurt during the wild encounter. Footage taken from one of the outside cameras showed the deer frolicking through the parking lot.
The Tortugas’ patio sprint isn’t the first time a deer has caused a stir in Flagler Beach.
Last July, Flagler Beach Ocean Rescue lifeguards pulled a deer from the Atlantic Ocean after spotting the animal struggling to stay afloat offshore.
