Deputies searching for ‘known suspect’ after shooting in Apopka

APOPKA, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for a known suspect after a shooting on Thursday morning in Apopka.

The shooting happened around 9:30 a.m. on the 200 block of East 13th Street.

Responding deputies say they found a man in his 50s who had been shot by a known suspect.

Authorities say the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says detectives are investigating the shooting incident and actively looking for the suspect.
