Worker killed after industrial dryer falls at Hilton Hotel in Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was killed on Thursday night after an industrial-sized dryer fell on him, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said they responded to the Hilton Hotel at 6001 Destination Pkwy. after receiving a report about the incident around 9 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man in his 30s who worked at the hotel under the dryer, the release shows.

“Orange County Fire Rescue pronounced the man deceased at the scene,” the release reads. “No additional information is available at this time.”

News 6 has reached out to the Hilton for comment and is awaiting a response.
