Around 100 hot dogs, ice cream stolen in overnight burglary at Central Florida school

ORANGE CITY, Fla. – Police are now investigating after a burglary at University High School early Thursday morning, according to the Orange City Police Department.

In a release, police said that two unidentified White males were seen jumping the fence near the gymnasium and Building 4 around 1:07 a.m.

After entering Building 4 through an unlocked door, the suspects apparently messed with ESE bicycles and equipment before going into a classroom and taking around $50 worth of lanyards, police added.

“The suspects then entered a second classroom and stole miscellaneous food items, including approximately 100 hot dogs and ice cream, valued at approximately $60,” the release reads.

In addition, the suspects took an Allen wrench set from a desk in the hallway before leaving campus around 1:30 a.m., investigators noted.

While police look into the incident, anyone with information regarding the suspects’ identities is urged to contact the Orange City Police Department.
