Florida Highway Patrol: One killed in crash on State Rd. 44 Troopers say victim is 23-year-old Eustis man

EUSTIS, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash they say left a 23-year-old man from Eustis dead.
According to a crash report, it happened on State Rd. 44 near Brantley Branch Rd. around 4:30 Saturday evening.
That’s near Eustis.
Troopers say the victim was speeding on his motorcycle, when he lost control, hitting and driver of a Toyota Tundra head on while that driver tried to make a turn.
The victim died at the scene, and the driver of the Tundra was not hurt according to FHP.
Troopers say the crash is under investigation.
