Documents show Jones told deputies the driver, Nyeesha Thomas, was shouting at her for allegedly “brake-checking” her, and Thomas threw something at Jones’ car.
That’s when, records show, Jones told deputies Thomas said: “You’re lucky I don’t have my gun with me.”
According to the arrest report, Jones says that prompted her to reach into her back seat, grab a can of wasp spray, and spray it at Thomas.
The report states Thomas told deputies when she pulled up next to Jones, Jones “just started yelling at her” and then sprayed her and her vehicle.
The report says Thomas told deputies she wanted to press charges, and deputies found probable cause to arrest Jones.
Jones is now facing battery charges.
