According to the arrest affidavits, the two women were together in the same car early Sunday morning, and both were intoxicated.
An officer arrested Jimenez, who was the driver.
However, police say that hours later, Alcalde was pulled over while driving drunk in a different car. That’s when she was arrested.
Police say both women told them they were principals at Pinecrest Lakes Academy Charter School in Minneola.
News 6 checked and as of Friday evening, Alcalde is named and pictured as the school’s principal, but Jimenez is not listed as a staff member.
We called and emailed the school several times throughout the day for a comment, but the people who answered the phone said they didn’t have time to speak with us.
