Child shot and killed in Osceola County

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A young child has been shot and killed after a shooting, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Captain Kim Montes tells News 6 that deputies responded to the 911 call around 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the 2600 block of Scrapbook Street.

The child was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.

Detectives are investigating the incident, but say that is no threat to the community.
