HOLLY HILL, Fla. – Officers are investigating a “domestic violence incident” that broke out in Holly Hill on Monday, according to the police department.
In a release, police said the incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. at the Cedar Point apartments.

“Upon arrival, officers located an adult female, hysterically crying while covered in blood,” the release reads. “Officers immediately began rendering aid until medical personnel arrived on scene.”
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she’s been listed in “fair condition,” police noted.
Detectives said the male victim wasn’t initially found at the scene, though they determined he’d already been taken to the hospital by private vehicle, where he arrived as a trauma alert.
“He is currently listed in critical condition,” the release continues. “Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are working closely with the Daytona Beach Police Department and the Volusia County Crime Scene Investigations Unit to process multiple scenes in both Holly Hill and Daytona Beach.”
According to the department, the incident may have stemmed from an argument over infidelity.
