ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier took to social media on Tuesday afternoon to report that tampons were no longer being distributed in men’s bathrooms during the Florida Bar exam.
The post comes months after Uthmeier originally claimed that the Florida Bar was handing out tampons in the men’s bathroom during the exam.
“They’re not a politically-impartial institution,” he wrote at the time. “It’s time to end partisan law-fare and reevaluate the need for a unified Florida Bar.”

On Tuesday, he claimed that the tampons were “confirmed” as no longer being there as of the first day of the Florida Bar exam’s summer edition.
“We’re making progress,” he said.
However, Uthmeier didn’t explain what — if anything — may have sparked the change.

Uthmeier has been vocal about his criticisms of major institutions in the past, taking aim at Major League Baseball, the National Football League, TikTok, an Irish dance contest, and even an HOA over various political issues.
A representative for the Florida Bar told News 6 that the Florida Board of Bar Examiners is responsible for handling the bar exam.
News 6 has reached out to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for more information and to confirm Uthmeier’s claims, and is awaiting a response.
