Turnpike re-opened after morning crash

KISSIMMEE. Fla. – Florida’s turnpike is now open after a crash snarled traffic Saturday morning on Florida’s Turnpike.

The Florida Highway Patrol website shows the whole thing happened around 10:40 a.m. near mile marker 242 northbound.

That’s right near the exit for U.S. 192 / U.S. 441 in Kissimmee.

Troopers say three people were transported with non-life-threatening injuries, and one lane is currently open.

The crash is under investigation.
