KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning on U.S. 192 in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and International Drive.

According to FHP, a vehicle was traveling westbound on U.S. 192 in the outside lane when a pedestrian ran across the road and into the path of the vehicle.
The right front headlight area of the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The adult male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the crash, the driver fled the scene, troopers said.
Investigators recovered vehicle parts at the crash site and believe the vehicle is possibly a 2007–2010 metallic black Ford Edge.
The name of the victim has not been released
Troopers said the pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
