Multiple car burglaries prompt DeLand police to issue warning Citizens warned to lock car doors, secure belongings
Surveillance photo shows a vehicle wanted in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries in DeLand.
DeLAND, Fla. – DeLand police are warning citizens to lock their vehicles after multiple vehicles were burglarized Saturday night.
The break-ins were reported in Forest Trace, Glenwood Springs, Cross Creek and Mallory Square subdivisions.
Police said surveillance video showed three people pulled up in an SUV, got out of the vehicle and started pulling on door handles to see if they were unlocked.
Anyone who recognizes the people in the surveillance photo is asked to call the DeLand Police Department at 386-626-7117.
