This Project Kuiper mission marked the first flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster supporting it.
After stage separation, the first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Amazon’s inaugural Project Kuiper mission launched on April 28.
Founded by Jeff Bezos — who now runs his own rocket company, Blue Origin — Amazon aims to put more than 3,200 of these satellites into orbit to provide fast, affordable broadband service around the globe.
