CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX late Monday will attempt to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast.
The launch, scheduled for 11:42 p.m., will send a GPS III-9 satellite into medium-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The launch window will be open for 15 minutes.
A backup launch opportunity, if needed, is available at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday.

The launch will mark the fifth flight for the first-stage booster, which previously launched KF-01, IMAP, NROL-77 and one Starlink mission.
Following stage separation, the first stage will land on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
