CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX late Tuesday launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast.
The launch, which took off around 11:53 p.m., sent a GPS III-9 satellite into medium-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The launch, originally scheduled for Monday night, marked the fifth flight for the first-stage booster, which previously launched KF-01, IMAP, NROL-77 and one Starlink mission.
Following stage separation, the first stage landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
