Deputies said a woman who brought her dog to Bicentennial Park on Ocean Shore Boulevard on Wednesday reported her dog trying to eat raw animal fat.

Several more pieces of beef fat contaminated with 200 milligram Ibuprofen pills inside were also discovered at the park, according to the report.

Deputies said they searched the large and small dog park areas, and found several other pieces.

One dog, named Rex, fell ill after eating the animal fat and went to the veterinarian.

It's not clear who placed the animal fat in the dog park, but deputies are investigating it as a suspicious incident.
