An armed security guard at an Orange County apartment complex detained a gunman accused of shooting at a man on a dirt bike, deputies said.
The shooting was reported around 11:25 a.m. Friday at the Hidden Creek Villas on Rivertree Circle at Rio Grande Avenue near Palmetto Elementary School.

The rider was injured and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jeff Williamson said. It's not known if the rider was shot.
Detectives said the accused shooter, Julio Oquendo, 23, shot at the man from inside a vehicle.
Palmetto Elementary School remained under normal operations, Williamson said.
Oquendo was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, deputies said. He was denied bail during his first appearance before a judge Saturday.
