ICE! at Gaylord Palms Resort is always an impressively frigid display, and this year is no different.

One of the most quotable Christmas movies ever is featured this year. Walking through the 9-degree showroom, I can say that ICE! captured the essence of “Elf” from the North Pole to Buddy’s time in New York City.

While every scene is photo-worthy, there are a few spots that were made for photo ops.

While you can’t circle around the revolving door like how Buddy did, you can step behind a panel and pose with him.

Have a seat at the shoe polishing station. And if you’re like News 6 Creative Producer Mike Ramsdell, you can pose like you’re on a roller coaster. 🙌🏻

Take a seat in the North Pole classroom and learn about the Code of the Elves.

Ice carving is a talent that I can’t wrap my head around.

A special salute 🫡

It’s one of my favorite Disney traditions and on Veterans Day, I had the pleasure of attending the Flag Retreat as four Disney cast members who are veterans were honored. Each one represents the main branches of the military.

Most guests have somewhere to be when they enter the Magic Kingdom, I get it, but if you find yourself on Main Street U.S.A. around 5 p.m. and have maybe 15 minutes to spare, head over to the Town Square.

Treasure makes dock 🚢

Disney really knows how to make a grand entrance, and that’s no exception for its cruise ships.

During sunrise, the Disney Treasure sailed into Port Canaveral and was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd who were eager to witness the special moment.

The Treasure is the latest edition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the third in this Triton class of ships.

My favorite arrival moment was hearing the ship’s horn play the “A Whole New World” melody. I attached a video of the horn melody in the body of this web story.

Fun Spot

Fun Spot America is adding four new rides to its Central Florida lineup, including one fit for thrill seekers who have no limits.

Deemed the tallest interactive 360° flying jet ride in North America, Mach Fun riders will fly side-by-side 50 feet in the air. You can expect barrel rolls and spiraling dives.

Mach Fun is coming to Fun Spot Orlando. There’s also a new towering thrill ride coming to the Kissimmee park.

Disney has its Treasure, but pretty soon Madame Tussauds will have a replica of the international treasure that is Jeff Goldblum.

The multi-talented actor and musician talked about wanting his own Madame Tussauds wax figure and I can confirm that it’s finally happening and it’s coming to the museum at ICON Park.

With his quirky and curious persona, Goldblum doesn’t seem like a hard man to please, but I make a bet Madame Tussauds will triumph and make it a masterpiece.

Great Wolf Lodge

The Gronk Wolf Lodge 💦

Great Wolf Lodge South Florida opened in September, but this week, there was a big splash at the grand opening.

Four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski was on hand, and based on these photos, he understood the assignment that was given — ride all 12 water slides in a charity challenge for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

Universal Orlando

Raising the “broom”🧹

When it comes to Wicked: The Experience, Universal Orlando defies expectations once again, as they couldn’t just stop at a gift shop for the “Wicked” movie, they had to make it an immersive attraction.

From film props and costumes to the irresistible merchandise, the experience is an Oz-like wonder.

I included plenty of photos and videos in this web story, including a walkthrough from a Universal Executive chef on all the “Wicked”-themed food items around the resort.
