ICE! carvers are known for making the sculptures at Gaylord Palms’ popular holiday attraction shine.
This year, we can say it glows.
Greetings, reader. It’s Haley.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is ready. Roughly a month after I got a first look at the frigidly familiar attraction taking shape, I went to see the result.
Fans will be pleased with how the story unfolds, with iconic scenes and characters.
There are plenty of photo ops, sleigh bells to jingle, and tunnels for exploration. New this year, look out for lighted signage on the floor advertising the reindeer games.
For some, an ICE! walk-through isn’t complete without a slide in the slide room. The Abominable Snowmonster of the North will greet you at the top.

The News 6 Insider team interviewed Food Network star Jet Tila, one of the few renowned chefs attending the event that promises a stellar fusion of culinary arts and space history.
Universal Orlando
A salute to vets 🫡
Universal Orlando is rolling out another Universal Epic Universe offer, this time for military members, and that’s not all.
As a thank-you, the resort is offering exclusive 2026 Military Freedom Passes, vacation packages, specially priced tickets to Epic Universe, and unique Harry Potter experiences.
Walt Disney World
Festive global flavors 🕎
Fans always look forward to the Candlelight Processional narrator announcement at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. The food is a close runner-up, offering a variety of savory bites, sweets, and holiday beverages to enjoy.

Deck the Disney Springs 🍵🎄
When it comes to the holidays at Walt Disney World, these are a few of my favorite things: touring decorations at the resorts (including life-size gingerbread displays), seeing Santa at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and dining at Jock Lindsay’s.
We stopped by Disney Springs last night for the holiday kick-off, complete with a tree lighting, and to check out Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.

Disney Cruise Line
A mighty welcome 🦸
Disney celebrated the newest ship’s official debut into the cruise line fleet with a spectacular show.
Performances took place both in the sky and on land, with the Disney Destiny serving as the stunning backdrop for the festivities.
The heroes-and-villains-themed ship made a special stop in Central Florida before heading to its homeport in Fort Lauderdale. Even the ship’s horn melodies are sure to leave you smiling.
My “destiny” awaits, as lots of stories at sea are ahead.
