Hello, silly creatures, it’s Haley.
I delayed sending out the usual Friday edition of my In the Loop: Theme Park Scoops newsletter so I could include a recap of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s new live show.
There’s a Fraggle hole at NASA, and humans (or silly creatures as Fraggles call us) can mingle with these life-sized versions of the familiar puppets.
I was able to talk to John Tartaglia after my showing of Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure. As creative supervisor of Fraggle Rock at The Jim Henson Company, he was the key force behind this production. Tartaglia said bringing Fraggle Rock and NASA together was a natural fit because both are all about exploration.
I have to say, not being able to join in the clapping part of the Fraggle Rock theme song while recording video is completely frustrating.
Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure is fun, nostalgic, and educational. Definitely make space for the show the next time you visit KSC.

The Junior Galaxy Explorers Search launched in Miami earlier this month. There will be four more stops in Florida and California before the winners are announced.
Those selected, by the way, will be among the first to ride Legoland Florida’s new Galacticoaster.
When my co-worker Brandon saw the requirements, he was disappointed to find he was too old to participate.
